earlier my mom was shrieking over the deplorable state of my face, as she always does, and so it needs TLC (tender loving care) right now. I shall see to it, before she adds on to my collection (initiated by mom) of skincare products.
my younger brother's leaving for msia tmr on a field trip, my dad to japan on wed and my older brother in his camp as always :O that leaves my mom and i at home alone, and this shall be repeated when my dad and brother leave for thailand in June! oh, the woes of an O Level examination student..
anyway mom suggested shopping after meet the parents this coming friday to seize this moment without the men in the house, haha.

If you were at stnicks on sat and are enthusing about how fiesta was a hit, i simply concur!
it was just like the fiesta we had when i was in sec one, crowded, hot, sticky, noisy but fun and yummy. and i was certainly savouring every moment of that spirited day!
the good thing about our sch is really our fiestas, so for the uninitiated, please don't miss the next! we spent the day walking between ends of our compound (and for once it didnt seem like a chore) eating, playing, eating, playing etc. and i met so many people and that's a good thing =] ohohohoh and i sat the uncle ringo ride at the forum and i really thank God i'm still alive. It's a mystery how everyone thought it was lame but i was freaking out in my seat, for my dear life.
The morning was spent on a food hunt with andrea, gekky meibao and sijia. farrica performed her heart-trembling diploma piece, haha. Did my shift and our drinks stall sold well! except when yuanchang accidentally spat a piece of crossiant from his mouth whilst talking into chinchow pot :( It was a revolting affair and xinhui and i had to use our hands like filters to dispose of the chinchow. ALL OF IT. all right there's too much to mention so that's about it. Fiesta over, homework beckons, and it doesnt help that this march hols's packed like sardines. SARDINES. :(

yesterday night's reunion dinner with my relatives was great, esp the jap food!
oh and let me let you on to a terrible sartorial disaster that struck last night! having cut my hair some time ago, i never left the house without tying my hair up cos it really looks like a mistake without being bunched up, and of all nights i forgot to bring my rubber band out LAST NIGHT arghuhsdghr! the last thing i wanted was my long-time-no-see relatives to think i had become a freak hahaha so i went to the info counter at the club where we had dinner and got one of those cheapo red gaudy rubber bands! haha i really couldnt be bothered you knw so it was like faux pas faux pas the whole night...sigh. cant stand my brothers, they just couldnt give me a break from bad hair.
yesterday my younger brother did a really silly thing too. Chinese new year blues maybe. I think we're all funny that way. He was pouring some red grape juice and i asked him why on earth he chose red grape at the super market cos it really tasted like those served during holy communion, then he paused for a moment. AND, he started singing the doxology, oh gosh. talk about blasphemy.
And cranium is a very very fun way of keeping yourself occupied during cny! it really puts your intellect to the test haha. had much fun with my cousins playing it just now at grandma's house. okay more visiting (& angpaos) tmr!

all right last few moments of 2005 and i shall make this a quick one..
okay, to confirm that the year 2005 had been a total mad rush, the best evidence is the blank page of a recollection i have of the year. all right to be fair, 2005 is ironically the most "happening" year of my 15 years of existence, but im sure next year would be even more shocking and the year after next, even more shocking etc. what i mean by "blank", is that, everything's almost in a blur. Oh well, paradox: seeming contradiction with greater truth. okay enough of that, let's move on to the imperative:
Hannah's New Year Resolutions for 2006
1. Work hard for Os (which is, by default, on every 1990 baby's list)
2. Piano (and i have re-encountered this after a few month hiatus, rusty oh rusty)
3. No Frills. (this encompasses a lot, so i just put it in a convenient nutshell :)
That's three, perhaps too little for a list but highly possible too many to keep. Let's hope i'd have done a good job a year later when i renew this!
anyway, the SATS guide for lit is quite a good read, for those who can't afford to commit themselves to a good storybk religiously =]

i am sick and tired of the affairs of the heart.
That is, right ventricle, left ventricle, auricles, tricuspid valves, etc. Bio questions that ask the same questions over and over again and i, repeat myself over and over again.
anyway, feeling kinda sleepy today. clara the crazy gucci called me at around 1 am while i was working on the bio like a good student to ask to go out. hahaha. we ended up talking till 330, about everything and laughing a lot. oh well miss talking to that girl so much!
i hate writer's block. it is almost customary, that i get it every year after laying off for the whole of my end of year. I deserve it. But i really abhor the way everything gushes to my mind in pictures and visuals, or even just a mere feeling, enough to send chills down my spine, and i have to take great pains to translate them into words. or sometimes i just cant encapsulate everything and i get so annoyed with myself, so i walk away to watch tv. haha.

im flying off to shanghai tonight, and: 1) i solemnly hope i won't get frost bite 2) Hopefully i'll meet srfoo, or cat over there!
went shopping for woolly(mammoth) jacket yesterday. It's really tough searching for my size- kids' too small, adults' too big. And this saleswoman said to my mom, "Kids ah? Can try can try...your daughter 12 years old only right!" For goodness sake, that's a THREE YEAR LAPSE! My mom andi were so appalled the poor lady was reduced to a sheepish look. hehe. Anyway, shopped around with my whiny little brother and finally we found decent woollies at zara. mom got herself one too. Actually, wool is so prickly it distracts you from the cold..i hope.
Dear nut, i knw you're going through a really bad patch right now & you're right, i won't understand you cos, as a matter of fact, i'm not in your shoes. But i really hope you're taking it well and please, stop scaring yourself for pete's sake! and btw, i didn't lose your letter after all. i found it yesterday and i re-read it and i re-laughed at it.
